What is frusemide injection used for?

frusemide injection is a diuretic that is used to treat edoema (fluid retention; excess fluid retained in body tissues) caused by a variety of medical conditions, including heart, kidney, and liver disorders. Furosemide belongs to a class of drugs known as diuretics (sometimes known as “water pills”).

Should I drink more water when taking frusemide injection?

When using frusemide injection, make sure to drink plenty of fluids during any physical activity and in hot conditions, especially if you sweat a lot. If you do not drink enough water while taking Lasix, you may experience dizziness, lightheadedness, or nausea and vomiting. This is due to the fact that your blood pressure has dropped suddenly and you have become dehydrated.

What is the best time of day to take furosemide?
