Mometasone gel is a topical medication used to treat fungal skin diseases such as eczema, psoriasis, ringworm, athlete’s foot, jock itch, dermatitis, and tinea versicolor. It is also used to prevent fungal skin infections such as ringworm.

Take care not to get it on your face, in your eyes, or on injured skin (other than the treatment site), since this could cause irritation. Avoid getting it in your eyes. If you accidentally get it in your eyes, flush them out with plenty of running water.
