Itraconazole USP 1.00% w/w Aspergillosis (fungal infection of the lungs), blastomycosis (Gilchrist’s disease), and histoplasmosis (Darling’s disease) are all examples of fungal infections that are treated with itraconazole capsules. Onychomycosis may also be treated with the Sporanox® pill (fungal infection in the fingernails or toenails).
