Gefitinib 250mg Tablet Xefta is used in the treatment of non-little cell cellular breakdown in the lungs. It is available in tablet form. Patients with cancer that has spread to several parts of the body, who have abnormal epidermal development factor receptor (EGFR) characteristics, and who have not previously had cancer therapy are candidates for this treatment.

How Gefitinib 250mg Tablet Xefta is used?

Gefitinib 250mg Tablet Xefta is recommended that you take Xefta 250mg Tablets at the same time each day, regardless of whether you are eating or not. You should continue to accept it as long as your primary care physician encourages you to do so. The length of treatment varies depending on your individual needs and response to treatment (see chart below). You should follow the instructions provided by your primary care physician to the letter. It is possible to get severe incidental effects if you misinterpret it or take too much of it. It may take several weeks or months for you to notice or feel the benefits of this medication; nonetheless, you should not stop taking it unless your primary care physician directs you to do so.

Common Side effects of Gefitinib 250mg Tablet Xefta:

Aside from sickness, rash, heaving, and weight loss, the most commonly reported side effects of this medicine are nausea and vomiting. If you experience severe looseness of the bowels, drink plenty of fluids and see your primary care physician if it continues to cause you problems. It makes you more sensitive to sunlight; as a result, you should wear protective clothing or apply sunscreen when going outside. If you get ulceration in your mouth, changes in your vision, or breathing difficulties, it is best to consult with a doctor immediately. In the event that you are taking this medicine, your primary care physician may advise you to undergo routine liver capacity testing.
