What is Docetaxel Injection 120 mg used for?

Docetaxel Injection 120 mg is used to treat advanced or metastatic (cancer that has spread) breast cancer in individuals who have previously had various cancer medications that have failed to provide satisfactory results.

Is Docezap strong chemo?

Because the primary ingredient, docetaxel, is a powerful chemotherapy medicine, it comes with an extensive list of adverse effects as a result of its strength. The majority of these are common side effects associated with this class of medications, such as nausea, vomiting, and transient baldness (hair loss).

How long is Docezap infusion?

It is advised to provide Docezap at a dose of 75 mg/m2 over one hour on day 1, followed by cisplatin at a dose of 75 mg/m2 over one to three hours (both on day 1), and then 5-fluorouracil at the rate of 750 mg/m2 each day for five days starting at the conclusion of the cisplatin infusion.

A high level of effectiveness was also observed in patients with a poor prognosis, who had metastases in three or more organs (53%), and/or who had an illness in the visceral organs (45%). (47 percent ).

Predicted survival was increased by an average of 0.89 years in individuals with metastatic disease and by an average of 0.78 years in patients without metastatic disease when Docezap was used. The drug also increased discounted quality-adjusted life years (QALYs) by 0.51 years in patients with metastatic disease and by 0.39 years in people without metastatic illness.

How long after Docezap Will do I feel better?

It is possible that your muscles or joints could ache or become painful two to three days after receiving treatment. However, for other people, this can endure for several weeks instead of only a few days or even less than that. It can be extremely uncomfortable, and you may need to use pain relievers or anti-inflammatory medications such as ibuprofen to alleviate the discomfort.
