What is the purpose of Ramipril 1.25 mg?

Ramipril 1.25 mg is a medication that can be used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) To lower your chances of having a heart attack or stroke. To lessen the likelihood of renal issues worsening or to prevent them from worsening (whether or not you have diabetes)

In such patients, a starting dose of 1.25 mg is indicated, and treatment should be started under physician supervision (see section 4.4). To gradually achieve target blood pressure, the dose can be doubled every two to four weeks; the highest permissible dose of Ramipril is 10 mg daily.

What is the recommended dosage of ramipril?

A single dose’s antihypertensive impact usually lasts for 24 hours. After 3 to 4 weeks of sustained ramipril medication, the maximum antihypertensive effect is usually seen. It has been demonstrated that the antihypertensive impact can be sustained during a two-year period of treatment.
