What is chlorambucil 2mg used for?
chlorambucil 2mg is a drug that is used to treat a kind of CLL called chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL; a type of cancer of the white blood cells). Non-lymphoma Hodgkin’s (NHL) and Hodgkin’s disease are also treated with chlorambucil (types of cancer that begin in certain white blood cells that normally fight infection).
How long can a dog take chlorambucil?
Chlorambucil is usually taken once a day, twice a day, or three times a day. Treatment effectiveness should not be determined until after 2-4 weeks of use because therapeutic effects may not be visible until then.
How quickly does chlorambucil work?
The full effects of this medication can take a few weeks to appear, although adverse effects can happen right away. After a few days, you should see gradual improvements.
When should I take chlorambucil?
Your doctor will determine the length of treatment based on your condition. Chlorambucil is taken orally and should be taken on an empty stomach every day (at least one hour before meals or three hours after meals). With a glass of water, swallow your tablets whole. The tablets should not be broken, crushed, or chewed.
Does chlorambucil cause hair loss?
