Before undergoing a stem cell transplant Alphalan Melphalan 50mg Injection injection is used to treat multiple myeloma (bone marrow malignancy) (conditioning treatment). Melphalan belongs to the class of drugs known as alkylating agents (cancer medicines).

Alphalan Melphalan 50mg Injection is a chemotherapeutic drug used to treat a variety of malignancies. It’s also possible that you’ll get it before a stem cell or bone marrow transplant. Alkeran is another name for it.
Is Alphalan Melphalan 50mg Injection associated with hair loss?
Hair thinning or loss often begins two to four weeks after your first dosage of melphalan. Eyelashes, eyebrows, and other body hair may also thin or go out.
How long does Alphalan take to wear off?
