EMTRICITABINE; TENOFOVIR DISOPROXIL FUMARATE (em tri SIT uh bean; te NOE fo veer) is a tablet that contains two antiretroviral medications in one. It is used in conjunction with other medications to treat HIV. This medication is not an HIV cure. This medicine can minimize the risk of HIV transmission to others, but not fully eradicate it.
