What is Pomalidomide Capsule used for?

Pomalidomide Capsule is an anti-cancer drug (cancer medicine). Pomalidomide is used to treat AIDS-related Kaposi sarcoma in individuals who have failed to respond to high-dose antiretroviral therapy (HAART). This medication is also used to treat Kaposi sarcoma in people who aren’t HIV positive (HIV-negative).

When should I take pomalidomide?

Pomalidomide pills are used once a day. Dexamethasone is taken in the morning after breakfast.

Is pomalidomide oral?

Take this medication by mouth, with or without food, as advised by your doctor, once day for 21 days and then cease for 7 days. This is the end of one therapy cycle. As advised by your doctor, continue to take the medication in this manner. With water, swallow the capsules whole.

Is pomalidomide immunotherapy?
