The following instructions are for all patients younger than 2 months old: Instill 1-2 drops into the infected eye every 4 to 6 hours. As soon as the infection becomes mild to moderate, apply 2 drops to the affected eye every 30 minutes to an hour until the infection becomes better, and then lower the frequency of application to less frequent intervals as needed.
