How is Alteplase Injection administered?
The dosage is 0.9 mg/kg as advised. 90 mg should be the maximum dose. An intravenous (IV) bolus of 10% of the total dose is given during one minute, and the remaining 90% is infused over the course of 60 minutes. The treatment should be started as soon as possible and no later than 4.5 hours after the first symptom.
